Ski Hill Potluck Dinner Hike

The email notification has been complicated this season for this particular hike. A plan is developing to have email notification sent out. For now, it would be wise to check the Upcoming Trips on the Los Alamos Mountaineers website. The day of the week will be determined by schedules and road construction.  I plan a hike for each weekend until early October. 

This week's ski hill hike will be Saturday, May 23rd beginning at 5 PM.  We meet at the ski hill parking lot and begin hiking up the service road at 5 PM.  Please bring a dish to share, your own plate, utensils, and beverage. Raingear and/or warmer clothing are recommended due to normally much cooler temperatures at the top of the mountain. 

The hike up takes about 45 minutes with an elevation gain of about 900 feet, The views are spectacular, and it is very peaceful at the top except for the occasional jet plane flying overhead.

Please RSVP if you plan to attend, and send me your cell phone number.  If there is a cancelation due to inclement weather, I will put out a notice by 4:30 PM.
