Join us for an intermediate, cross-country ski outing to Canada Bonita Wednesday night, January 24. The first full moon of 2024, also known as Wolf Moon, will provide enough light to enjoy the scenery. Depending on your preference, the round trip will be anywhere between 4 and 8 miles of skiing. It will be of intermediate difficulty and participants should have previous experience cross country skiing.
We will leave promptly at 9 PM from the gate at Camp May Road up on Pajarito ski hill. We plan to be back to our cars by 11 PM.
Bring warm clothes and a headlamp, in case of cloudy sky.
Let Jan know if you would like to join: jan.velechovsky@gmail.com. We can arrange carpooling from Sullivan Filed, leaving at 8:40 PM.
