Pecos Wilderness Backpack

Let's hike the Pecos Wilderness, from Santa Barbara campground to the Santa Fe Ski Basin.  This is a 36 mile, 4 day trip, and we will hike on Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon.  We will run the shuttle Friday morning, leaving car(s) at the SF Ski Basin, and driving to the start at the Santa Barbara campground, east of Penasco, NM.  We will spend three nights out, and then pick up the car(s) at the SB campground on Monday afternoon.

Participants will be responsible for tents, stoves, and food.  We will coordinate sharing as folks are interested.  We will get together prior to the trip, to go over maps and the hiking plan.  Also, there will probably be a day hike scouting trip in June, to make sure that snow does not cause hiking issues on north facing slopes near Pecos Baldy.

We will limit the trip to about 10 participants.
