Let's Get Down! (A day of downhill skiing at Wolf Creek)

Feeling the need to experience the sensations caused by the white crystalline stuff?

I know I am! Join me on a day trip to Wolf Creek. Ya, I know it's a 3 h drive one-way. Ya, I know its not comped through your Pajarito Pass. Ya, I KNOW ITS A 5:30 AM DEPARTURE (hardly an alpine start)! But, what's a 'fix' worth when you gotta have it? Time has come, the walrus said. Colorado is getting snow, and it's the closest that we can get to it. I soloed the journey last Sunday and I'm feeling the need to tithe (both time and money) to the snow gods again this weekend. Fueled by the prospect of additional new snow toward the week's end, I'm going with or without you. However, if you'd like to share your companionship, a little conversation and one of three seats in my truck - let me know. Of course, if there is wider interest I am comfident additional car pools can be arranged. I was totally cooked by 2:30 last week, so I expect to begin the trek home nlt 3:00 PM. That puts us back in Los Alamos by 6:30 unless a "snack" or dinner is the consensus. Has a microbrewery opened in Chama, yet? Business opportunity?
