MLK winter weekend to Durango/Purgatory

Update January 12: The snow seems to be heading for Durango and Purgatory, so that will be our destination. I'm booking a house which might be big enough to squeeze in one or two more; else folks can find their own lodging in Durango and join us. BP
 
As we have done many times, we will take advantage of the long Martin Luther King weekend for downhill skiing, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing. I will watch the weather reports over the next week and settle on a destination by approx. Jan. 9. Possibliities include Salida/Monarch, Durango/Purgatory, and Pagosa/Wolf Creek. Durango would be a first choice if their snow conditions improve, because we have not skied there for some time, but Wolf Creek and Monarch are always a pleasure, too. Once I have an estimate of participation and a destination, I will look for a house large enough for all of us. Please send an e-mail to bill@priedhorsky.net to hold a slot.
