What Could Go Wrong - Stories of Accidents and Near-Misses on Trips

Date:
Wed, 2013-09-25

Note new time, different week, different place: Dinner at 6 PM, meeting at 7, Pajarito Mountain Lodge
Each year the Mountaineers have a safety-oriented meeting.  These can be fun, or they can be boring. To make this year's program FUN, we are holding a dinner meeting at Pajarito Mountain on September 25 - the FOURTH Wednesday of September.  Note the change of TIME and PLACE.

Members will share "Lessons Learned" from their trips.  The idea is to share true stories that relate to safety.  Each story will be about 5 minutes long.  We will also review some of the Club guidelines for leading trips and end with a light-hearted piece entitled Counterfeit Cairns of Cougar Country. This is an effective method of preventing accidents and helping each other be safe.

In conjunction with our meeting, a New Mexican dinner is available starting at 6:00 PM at a cost of $12.50 per person.  The choices, which include dessert, are:

1) Chicken enchiladas with green chili
2) Cheese enchiladas with red chili

To get a count of the number of dinners needed, please send the number of each entrée you and/or your family would like (e.g. 1 green and 2 red) to lemonsra@gmail.com  by Tuesday, September 10, 2013.
