Description

Are you ready for a nice fall hike to Rosie’s Point? Join Sylvie Adam with PEEC and the Los Alamos Mountaineers for this beautiful local hike. Participants will meet at the West end of the Pajarito Ski Hill parking lot at 9 AM. Expected return to the trailhead is 2-3 PM. 

About the outing:  

Starting at Pajarito Ski Hill via Canada Bonita meadow, pass the Valle de Los Posos overlook and onward to Rosie’s Point on the Guaje Canyon Trail. 

The trail is rolling with some hills, but non-technical. Total distance is 8 miles out and back with about 700 feet of elevation gain. The morning may be chilly so bring light layers and a raincoat in case of precipitation. Bring plenty of water, snacks, and a lunch.  

Dogs: Not Allowed
