LAM Board roles:
- Membership chair in 2022 and 2023.
- President in 2024.
Sylvie grew up in Liège, Belgium and lived in Butte, Montana then Seattle, Washington then New York City before making the genius decisions to move to New Mexico in 2018 and join the Los Alamos Mountaineers in 2019.
Her first LAM hike was at Cumbres Pass and she was hooked; quickly understanding that New Mexico and the Southwest have a huge variety of landscapes, flora, fauna and activities on offer.
Being on the LAM Board, going to monthly programs and on trips is a wonderful way to hear from experienced Mountaineers and outdoor lovers who know so many nice places to see.
Time is the limiting factor with so many places and events to enjoy.
