Let's hike to Nambe Lake!  The hike is rated Moderate+,  about 7 miles out and back with an elevation gain of 2057 ft.  This beautiful hike starts at the Santa Fe Ski Basin parking lot and leads through the Sangre De Cristo, following the Windsor Trail 254 to Nambe creek and then follows the creek to Nambe lake.

We will start hiking at 9 am from the ski basin, hike to our destination, have a lunch by the lake and turn around. It takes, on average, 5 hours to complete RT. The trail is mainly shaded by pine and aspen trees, but please bring a hat, a sunscreen, and the rain gear, just in case.

In case of the bad weather, this hike will be canceled.

Los Alamos hikers will meet at the Sullivan Field parking lot and Santa Fe hikers will meet by DeVargas mall to carpool to the SF ski area. The details will be send out to the trip participants.

Please let Lana know if you can join by emailing: svetik.martin@gmail.com
