Powder forecast: Durango trip to ski purgatory

Snow forecast shows up to a foot of new snow falling overnight at purgatory ski area on tuesday night.

i note that the winds are forecast to be mild ( unlike Pajarito that day) so it should be nice though overcast and snowing.

The idea is to ski Wednesday at Purgatory which is on the Pajarito Power pass and Power Pass Core. So travel Tuesday leaving mid morning or early afternoon.   Return Wed night but optionally we could stay a second night as it will snow all Wednesday. .  Stay at hotels in Durango Tuesday night.

Depending in ability we can break into groups of likeminded similar level skiers.  This is powder skiing so it's not for beginners.

Ideally  we can share carpools and rooms among compatible people. I plan to stay someplace cheap in town.

It's about a 4 hour drive to Durango.  We can meet for dinner there.  The drive to Purgatory on a powder day is at least 1 hour from Durango in the morning due to lines but it's faster returning in the afternoon.
