X-C Ski at Cumbres Pass

There is enough snow a Cumbres Pass - let's go ski!

Sunday December 9.  Please send me an email if you'd like to come.

I'd like to do a tour from Cumbres Pass, following the trail to Trujillo Meadows yurt, then crossing over to the Flat Mountain yurt trail and on towards the Flat Mountain yurt, as far as we would like to go, then return to Cumbres Pass via the Flat Mountain yurt trail.  There is a map of this tour at https://southwestnordiccenter.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/FlatTrujill...

It will be a 6-8 mile tour.  Bring lunch, water, layers of clothing, a spare pair of gloves.  Backcountry skis - metal edge with fish scales.  I will bring skins, but I don't anticipate needing them.  

We will meet at Sullivan Field (Los Alamos High School football field) at 6:45 am to carpool, leaving by 7 am (daylight is short this time of year!).  We will return by 6 pm.
