Ullr Fest by Foot - September 29

Would you like to hike to Ullr Fest this year?  Hike with Evan from Sullivan Field to the Pajarito Mountain ski area on September 29, starting at 8:00 a.m.

The 10-mile trek offers beautiful views of Los Alamos and the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, the option to enjoy Ullr Fest after the hike, and a ride back to your vehicle via Atomic City Transit.

Hikers should expect to spend about five hours on the route. Add some time for the bus and the festival (if you stay).  The route will start at Sullivan Field, follow Quemazon Trail, connect with Pipeline Trail and finish at Pajarito Mountain by way of the Canada Bonita Trail. Altitude gain is roughly 2,500 feet.

Wear sturdy hiking shoes and bring a backpack containing two liters of water, food for lunch or snack, rain gear, sunscreen, and a hat.
