This was a nice backcountry skiing day-trip in the Wheeler Peak Wilderness.  Our trip included a summit ski descent of the northeast face of Lake Fork Peak (12881').  We left Los Alamos about 5:45am and arrived at the hiker parking lot near the Bavarian and the bottom of Taos Ski Valley chairlift #4 around 7:20am.

PJ and Amy just steps from the summitof Lake Fork Peak around 10:30am.
