Rattle snake on 5.6 at Overlook

Just an FYI that today, Tuesday, October 1, there was a small rattlesnake in the horizontal crack/handhold, which is about one foot above the second bolt on the 5.6 climb on the lower rock. Fortunately, I saw the snake just before I was going to use the handhold.

We have had lots of reports of rattlesnakes in our area northwest of Santa Fe (one under someone's bed - fortunately dead).

Be careful out there.
