Mount Sir Donald Northwest Arête |
Beta Images Slide Show
An obvious route on an easily accessible mountain with great aspect and an interesting history, this route will appeal to anyone who enjoys scrambling with exciting exposure and wonderful scenery. You will find this a very long day if you decide to belay it all. Not a difficult climb in good conditions, which unfortunately may exist for only weeks or days each year. There are quite a few moderate "ridge runs" in this collection, but this is the gold standard - the best of the best. |
