Grand Teton Direct Exum Ridge |
Beta Images Slide Show
The lower half of the route contains almost all of the technical climbing, with the Black Face the crux. The technical difficulties ease at mid-height when you reach "Wall Street." Wall Street is the access to the upper Exum Ridge, a popular climb in itself. Get an early start, it is a big day. This route is very popular, but the traffic dies down late in the season after the guide service packs up and leaves the lower saddle. |
