Let's go Canyoneering.

If you are not known to the trip host, you need to convince him that you are comfortable single-strand rappelling, without assistance, up to 50' and capable of down climbing some class 4'ish rocky areas.

The chosen canyon and meeting location will be revealed to those who will go on the trip. You will get wet, at least up to your waist. Wetsuits are not required, but the water will be cold. However, we won't ever be in it very long. A set of pictures and videos will be shared with you so that you can see what the area is like.

There are 4 or 5 rappels. We bypassed a short one into a large pool that we may do this time. And, we did a side rappel on the last rappel, but we may try directly down the water line this time. Even changing these two things, I think we can "ghost" (not leave any anchor material behind) all the rappels. But, we'll bring some webbing and rapid links in case I'm wrong.

We'll depart from the head of the canyon at 8:30am. We'll need to setup a car shuttle, so some of us will need to be out well in advance to setup the shuttle.
