Wilderness First Responder Opportunity

My name is Hunter Parrott and I work at Glorieta Camps. I would like to share some info on a training opportunity we have coming up here at Glorieta Camps that may interest LAM members.

We are hosting a Wilderness First Responder course August 15-23. Instruction will be through SOLO (Stonehearth Open Learning Opportunities). This course is a great opportunity to learn how to appropriately care for illnesses and medical emergencies during extended care situations in the backcountry.

Course Details

Tuition: $640

Where: Glorieta, NM on location at Glorieta Camps

When: August 15th - 23rd

Lodging: Please note, no food will be provided with housing so participants must make their own arrangements. 
 

• Hostel-style housing: bunk lodging, kitchen facilities, showers and access to an on-site laundromat for $25/night.

• Camping: Tent sites available for the duration of the course for a one time fee of $50. Pepole who are camping will have access to restrooms and showers in our bath house and an on-site laundromat.
