I’m hoping that the
experience I’ve gained through my service on other Boards and
this one for the past three years brings knowledge and
experience to this position that will be useful to its members.
I intend to stay connected with the members enough to understand
the needs of the Club, to maintain its high standards and
reputation, yet still keep it fun so we continue to attract new

details about Melanee:
I personally enjoy a variety
of outdoor activities including biking, skiing, hiking, rock
climbing, backpacking, and travel. I’m a native New Mexican and
have been a current resident of Los Alamos for a couple of
decades. I commuted from the Jemez Mountains for about 10
years. I am employed in environmental programs as a project
leader and have worked in variety of environmental, land
planning, design, management and leadership positions over the
last 20 years. I’m also a licensed landscape architect, I
serve on the Board for Family Strengths Network, and
participate in the Tuffriders and Pajarito Ski Club.
